Job summary

1996 Group operates the Toasteé team in Greater London, seeking a committed Supervisor to support the Manager, maintain a welcoming atmosphere and deliver exceptional service while assisting with food preparation and tea service.

The role covers greeting customers, handling orders and allergens, overseeing bar drinks, hygiene, stock, staff training, and collaboration with the Marketing Team for social media content. Leadership and safety are key.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Barista skills are a plus; full training will be provided.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and professional approach.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders, providing information on menu items and allergens.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously.
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation and stock levels.
• Assist with stock, inventory management and display maintenance.
• Train and support new team members; collaborate with Marketing for social media content.
• Lead and motivate the team to maintain high performance and morale.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
