Job summary

Greatfruit Limited is seeking a Coffee Shop Supervisor/Assistant to lead our busy cafe with passion and precision. You will supervise daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold high standards of food safety and quality while mentoring staff on coffee preparation and POS use.

Daytime, full-time role with weekend and holiday shifts in Greater London. You will tailor workflows, train new team members, and foster a welcoming environment that delivers memorable coffee experiences

Qualifications

• Extensive barista experience with beverage customization.
• Proven ability to supervise staff, schedule, and manage performance.
• Strong time management and multitasking in busy cafe.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and handling.
• Ability to train staff on coffee preparation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily coffee shop operations and ensure safe service.
• Lead barista efforts in espresso extraction and beverage prep.
• Train staff on coffee making, POS usage, and customer service.
• Manage cashier/till operations.
• Oversee inventory, stock rotation and ordering.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health codes.
• Foster positive team environment and resolve conflicts.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.
