Job summary

Infused Solutions Ltd is seeking a Lead Engineer (TypeScript & Node.js) to lead a small team of full-stack engineers in Kent, with a strong backend emphasis. The role balances hands-on coding with people leadership, mentoring and architectural ownership to deliver scalable software.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Node.js and TypeScript, proven leadership, and a pragmatic approach to technical decisions. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

Substantial commercial experience developing backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience leading and line managing software engineers.
Proven track record mentoring and coaching engineers' career development.
Experience owning technical direction within a domain.

Responsibilities

Lead and line manage a small team of software engineers, supporting development and performance.
Define and champion best practices for TypeScript and Node.js backend development.
Set technical direction and make pragmatic architectural decisions.
Build and maintain scalable, secure backend systems.
Coach engineers through pairing, feedback and technical guidance.
Own technical debt management while delivering momentum.
