Job summary

Appvia is seeking an Azure Principal Platform Engineer to guide customers in Cloud and DevOps maturity. You will design scalable, secure platforms and lead a team of cloud consultants. The role offers a path to establish Appvia's internal solutions team amid a growth phase.

The position requires UK Government Security Clearance eligibility and hybrid work in London, with occasional in-office presence as needed. A permanent contract with a competitive package and bonus/shares is offered.

Qualifications

• Azure certifications at expert/professional level are highly desirable (e.g., AZ-305).
• Kubernetes administration certifications such as CK A and CKSS are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute cloud and DevOps adoption strategies for customers.
• Educate customers and stakeholders on cloud-native best practices.
• Lead large, complex public cloud projects with strategic direction.
• Manage and mentor teams of platform engineers and consultants.
• Engage with enterprise clients to tailor solutions and stay current with industry trends.
