Job summary
SSE is seeking a technical lead to own and operate the AVEVA PI platform (PI Data Archive, AF and PI Vision) across the organisation. You will ensure security, resilience and high availability while integrating OT and enterprise systems.
You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity and operations teams to shape future real-time data capabilities. You will drive platform upgrades, interface configuration and continuous improvement, acting as a trusted expert for a critical operational
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience administering and supporting AVEVA PI (OSIsoft PI) technologies in production.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting PI Interfaces, Connectors, SDKs and APIs.
- Strong understanding of platform administration, performance monitoring and resilience.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical specialist for the AVEVA PI platform including PI Data Archive, AF and PI Vision.
- Administer, maintain and support the platform ensuring high availability and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot interfaces and integrations collecting data from systems.
- Lead platform upgrades, DR testing, performance tuning and lifecycle management.
- Provide guidance to users, projects and suppliers while promoting best practices.
