Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Group in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will oversee client relationships, budgets and day-to-day delivery of audits, while guiding junior staff and ensuring high-quality work.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification, strong audit experience, and a commercial focus on budgets and billing. You will work with Directors to align with departmental objectives and develop your team within a

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
Experience in audit and accounts, ideally within practice.
Proven ability to lead and develop junior team members.
Solid understanding of audit risk, controls and quality standards.
Knowledge of accounting/auditing standards including IFRS/FRS.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
Build and maintain strong client relationships; be the main contact for engagements.
Lead and develop junior team members; review work and provide feedback.
Manage budgets and monitor project progress; address variances.
Monitor billing and resource usage to keep engagements commercially efficient.
Ensure audit quality and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
