Job summary

Scottish Rugby Limited is seeking a National Talent Pathway coach to lead the physical development of selected Year 3 players and deliver tailored athletic performance coaching. You will educate players on athletic performance principles and provide ongoing guidance across all areas of physical prep.

You will also lead within a multidisciplinary team to align pathway goals and uphold athlete-development standards.

Qualifications

Master’s degree and UKSCA accreditation are advantageous.
Personal athlete experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of long-term athletic development and programme planning is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the physical development of identified National Talent Pathway Year 3 players.
Deliver athletic performance coaching tailored to player development needs.
Educate players on principles and practices of athletic performance.
Provide ongoing guidance to support players across all areas of physical preparation.
Lead within the multidisciplinary team to align pathway goals and set athlete-development standards.
