Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is representing a well-established architectural practice in Birmingham that seeks an Associate Architect to drive the new Central Birmingham office. The role combines project leadership with team management, client development and growth of the regional studio.

The successful candidate will have ARB registration, 8+ years' experience and a track record delivering complex projects across RIBA stages 0-7, with strong technical knowledge and leadership

Qualifications

• ARB registered architect with strong design and delivery capability.
• 8+ years' professional experience in architectural practice.
• Proven ability to lead projects from inception to completion across RIBA stages 0-7.
• Strong technical knowledge including UK Building Regulations and planning policy.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with client relationship focus.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in day-to-day running and development of the Birmingham office.
• Lead the regional team and work closely with the Birmingham Partner.
• Lead projects from inception through to completion across RIBA stages 0-7.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants; manage procurement packages.
• Support and mentor junior team members and develop client relationships.
• Contribute to business development and represent the Practice at events.
