Job summary

We Are BX2 Limited is seeking a Lead Assembler in Bradford on an ongoing temporary basis. You will lead a small team, assemble products from drawings, and ensure quality standards are met. The role runs Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours, with overtime opportunities and pay of £14–£15 per hour.

You will use hand and power tools, follow instructions, and coordinate workloads while supporting new team members. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and demonstrate reliability and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or production - Essential.
• Experience leading, supporting or mentoring a team.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A reliable, proactive and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using hand and power tools.
• Work from engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Fit components including hinges, locks, brackets, seals and electrical accessories.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Help coordinate workloads and support the assembly team.
• Train and support new team members.
• Identify and report any quality or production issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
