Job summary

Orion Electrotech in Reading is seeking an experienced Lead Assembler on a contract basis to join a busy manufacturing team. You will lead on the assembly line, support production activities and help ensure targets are met in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on assembly experience, ability to read engineering drawings, and a track record of maintaining high quality standards. You will train and mentor teammates while upholding health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in lead or senior assembler roles within manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the assembly line and support production activities.
