Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Highly Advanced Pharmaceutical Scientist to provide leadership across aseptic services, supporting around 80,000 aseptic preparations each year, including complex biotherapy and clinical trial products.

You will develop pharmaceutical quality systems, ensure GMP compliance, drive service development and lead a skilled team, partnering with senior clinical and operational colleagues to shape the future of aseptic services.

Qualifications

• Significant experience operating within GMP and quality assurance environments.
• Expert knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and aseptic services.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and supporting teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex situations.
• Experience driving change, service development or new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across aseptic services and develop a highly skilled workforce.
