Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Highly Advanced Pharmaceutical Scientist to provide leadership across aseptic services, supporting around 80,000 aseptic preparations each year, including complex biotherapy and clinical trial products.

You will develop pharmaceutical quality systems, ensure GMP compliance, drive service development and lead a skilled team, partnering with senior clinical and operational colleagues to shape the future of aseptic services.

Highly Advanced Pharmaceutical Scientist

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Highly Advanced Pharmaceutical Scientist to provide leadership across our aseptic services, supporting the delivery of around 80,000 aseptic preparations each year, including complex biotherapy and clinical trial products. Working within Aseptic Services, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing our pharmaceutical quality systems, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, driving service innovation, and delivering safe, high-quality patient care.This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in pharmaceutical quality assurance who is passionate about leadership, continuous improvement and service development. You will work closely with senior clinical and operational colleagues, lead and develop a highly skilled workforce, influence strategic decisions, and help shape the future of aseptic services across one of the UK's largest teaching hospital trusts.
