Job summary

Cotswold Archaeology is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial archaeological projects from Milton Keynes region. You will manage budgets, resources and logistics, ensuring high-quality archives and reports, while coordinating client liaison and QA processes.

The role combines office duties with site visits across projects. The successful candidate will be a member of CIfA at MCIfA level or able to meet requirements and join on appointment, with a full UK

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing a broad range of commercial archaeological fieldwork projects from inception to completion, safely and to tight deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of Health and Safety legislation in a commercial archaeological context.
• Proven ability to manage resources, budgets and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Tender for and manage safe, successful delivery of CA fieldwork projects to time and targets.
• Assure quality of fieldwork, archives and reports in line with CA standards.
• Line manage departmental staff and support staff development.
