Job summary

Sunseeker International seeks an experienced Lead Appointed Person to govern lifting operations across our Poole sites. You will develop lift plans, train and mentor Appointed Persons, and ensure all activities meet legislative and internal standards.

This pivotal role drives safety, efficiency, and cost‑effective crane utilisation across the business. You will coordinate cross‑site activities with Production, Facilities, and Projects, maintaining compliance records and leading continuous

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex lifting operations.
• Extensive knowledge of LOLER and PUWER and best practice.
• Experience creating, reviewing, and approving lift plans and risk assessments.
• Strong auditing, compliance, and contractor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as Lead Appointed Person for lifting operations across multiple Sunseeker sites.
• Plan, coordinate, and procure mobile crane services.
• Develop and approve lift plans for high-risk activities.
• Audit Appointed Persons, lifting operations, and supplier compliance.
• Maintain compliance with LOLER, PUWER, and Health & Safety legislation.
