A leading engineering recruitment service is seeking a Heavy Movement Engineer / Appointed Person in Bridgwater. The role involves providing safe lifting and moving operations for major projects, including planning, managing lift plans, and guiding teams. Candidates must have extensive experience in producing lift plans, a CPCS A61 Appointed Person blue card, and familiarity with high-pressure environments, ideally within the Nuclear or Oil and Gas industries. This is a permanent position with an immediate start.

Qualificações

• Experienced in producing and executing complex lift plans for crane and rigging operations.
• CPCS A61 Appointed Person blue card required.
• Eligible to work in the U.K and subject to BPSS and DBS Security Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Planning all lifting and moving activities for the project.
• Producing detailed method statements for inclusion with the RAMS.
• Providing technical guidance to the site rigging and lifting team.
• Management of lift plans.
• Maintaining detailed site logs and records of all project lifting activities.

Conhecimentos

Producing and executing complex lift plans

Experienced CPCS A61 Appointed Person

Experienced Rigger with ACE Card

Experience of writing Risk Assessed Method Statements

Proven track record in a high-pressure environment

Experience within the Nuclear, Petro-Chemical or Oil and Gas industries

Formação académica

CPCS Crane Supervisor / NVQ Level 4

NVQ Level 3 Moving Loads

Competent Operator ideally with an ECITB Appointed Person
