Job summary

Informed Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for a large public-sector organisation. You will shape engineering standards and platform strategy while contributing hands-on expertise across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure.

The main purpose of the role is to play a key part in shaping the organisation's business applications by defining engineering standards, influencing platform strategy, and leading the delivery of secure, scalable, and high performing solutions. You will work closely with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions deliver real business value. Further day to day activities will include leading technical delivery; establishing engineering best practice; developing plugins, custom workflows, custom APIs and Power Platform solutions; designing and implementing integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure and enterprise applications; managing CI/CD pipelines and release management; ensuring security and governance across the Microsoft ecosystem; and mentoring and developing engineering capability within the team. Your work will directly influence how colleagues and customers interact with core business systems, enabling improved service delivery, greater efficiency, and enhanced customer outcomes.
