Job summary

Jet2.com is seeking a Lead Digital Analytics Technology Specialist to drive the technical side of digital measurement across web and app. You will shape GA4, GTM, server‑side measurement and app analytics, ensuring tracking is accurate and scalable across platforms.

You will collaborate with Analytics, Product and Technology to translate measurement requirements into practical solutions, guiding the team and evolving our measurement strategy. Hybrid work with two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering digital analytics for web and/or mobile apps.
• Proficient with GA4 and GTM.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge and custom tracking implementation.
• Solid understanding of data layers, event-based tracking and measurement design.
• Experience with server-side tracking and modern measurement approaches.
• Proven ability to test, debug and troubleshoot analytics implementations.
• Knowledge of consent, privacy and first-party measurement.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of digital measurement across web and app.
• Own and develop GA4, GTM and server‑side measurement implementations.
• Define technical measurement requirements for new projects and changes.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology to ensure measurement is considered during development.
• Coordinate with Architecture and Infrastructure on dependencies.
• Lead measurement across server-side tracking, app measurement and value‑based bidding.
• Ensure tracking is tested, monitored and reliable.
• Investigate complex data quality issues and resolve with teams.
• Partner with Google and specialist vendors on new measurement capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate measurement implementation and management.
• Lead and mentor the Analytics Technology team.

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in digital analytics implementation across web and/or app
• Advanced knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager
• Strong JavaScript knowledge and experience implementing custom tracking
• Strong understanding of data layers, event-based tracking and measurement design
• Experience with server-side tracking and modern measurement approaches
• Strong experience testing, debugging and troubleshooting analytics implementations
• Good understanding of consent, privacy and first-party measurement
