Job summary

BioTalent in London seeks an experienced Group Leader, Analytical Development to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of monoclonal antibody programmes in a fast-growing biosimilars organization. The role focuses on biosimilarity assessment, analytical strategy, and advanced molecule characterisation, offering high visibility to shape scientific capability within an expanding R&D environment.

Please note, this position is on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytical development of biologics or biosimilars is required.
• Hands-on expertise with HPLC, CE and MS data interpretation.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor analytical scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical development activities for biosimilar mAb programmes.
• Drive biosimilarity assessment strategies and analytical strategy.
• Provide technical oversight of analytical methods (HPLC, CE, MS).
• Interpret LC-MS and advanced characterisation data.
• Support regulatory submissions and CMC documentation.
• Mentor and develop analytical scientists across teams.
• Identify and implement innovative analytical technologies.
