Job summary

Renesas Electronics in the UK seeks a Sr Staff Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to lead analog and power design engagements, assist with system-level integration, and support customers from concept through production. This role requires frequent customer visits and close collaboration with the sales team.

Ideal candidates have strong hands-on experience with PMICs, DC/DC, GaN/MOSFETs, and battery management, plus excellent communication skills to translate complex technical content into value

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (MSEE preferred).
• Strong experience in Analog and Power Electronics (customer-facing or design role).
• Experience in system-level power architecture design and PCB layout review.

Responsibilities

• Influence analog and power architecture development and device selection.
• Perform design reviews, root-cause analyses and hands-on debugging.
• Support system-level design integration across subsystems.
• Provide technical guidance to accelerate designs to production.
• Deliver field feedback to product divisions and roadmap planning.
