Job summary

Renesas Electronics in the UK seeks a Sr Staff Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to lead analog and power design engagements, supporting customers in UK and Ireland from Bourne End/Swindon area. This field role requires direct technical guidance, design reviews, and customer interactions to drive design-in to design-win success.

You will influence power architecture, perform design reviews, and work closely with sales to meet targets while delivering trainings and seminars.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (MSEE preferred).
• Strong experience in Analog and Power Electronics (customer-facing or design role).

Responsibilities

• Influence customer analog & power architecture development, including power tree design, device selection, and system optimization.
• Drive new product evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas analog and power portfolio.
• Support system-level design integration across Analog, Power, Processor, and Connectivity subsystems.
• Provide direct technical guidance to customers to accelerate designs from concept to production revenue.
• Deliver field feedback to product divisions to influence roadmap and feature prioritization.
• Be part of the sales team and work with peers to achieve targets.
• Develop and present customer trainings, technical seminars, and internal enablement content.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
