Job summary

Renesas is seeking a senior analog IC designer to design and verify CMOS analog blocks for custom ASICs, leading major blocks from specification to ramp. You will collaborate with both analogue and digital teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready designs and support test development and characterization across multi-site teams.

You will mentor engineers, enforce consistent methodologies, and communicate effectively in a global environment, including occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Microelectronics or related discipline is required.
• 10+ years of analog circuit design experience.
• Hands-on design and verification of analog blocks (amplifiers, oscillators, LDOs, comparators, reference/biasing, PMIC, audio sub-blocks).
• Experience leading development of switching converters or audio systems.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver chip-level solutions with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in chip-level verification including AMS and DMS.
• Strong competence with Cadence and Cadence-based flows.
• Able to share expertise and mentor less experienced members.
• Wamiliarity with international travel and multi-site collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Design and verify analog blocks to meet performance, area, power, and timescale constraints.
• Take technical leadership of full-chip or major system blocks from specification to production ramp.
• Collaborate with analogue and digital leads to drive strategy and layout.
• Produce high-quality documentation for designed circuits.
• Work with DFT teams to align to DFT strategy and implementation.
• Lead silicon debugging and design characterization.
• Support test development and ramp to production with test engineers.
• Mentor team members and drive consistent methodology across the group.
• Translate customer requirements into design specifications and solutions.
