Job summary

Right2Work in Kendal, Cumbria, is seeking an Alternative Provision Lead to oversee our Future Choices programme and lead the development of Alternative Provision for SEND learners. Based in Kendal, you will manage a small team, deliver engaging learning, and build partnerships with families, schools and external agencies.

You will drive person-centred, trauma-informed practice, monitor learner progress and create opportunities that help adults, young people and children re-engage with learning

Qualifications

• Experience leading education or alternative provision programmes.
• Experience supporting people with SEND/SEMH or additional needs.
• Experience leading, mentoring or supervising staff.
• Knowledge of person-centred, inclusive and trauma-informed approaches.
• Experience monitoring learner progress and achieving positive outcomes.
• Strong communication, partnership-working and organisational skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour support.
• Commitment to helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small team to deliver engaging, person-centred learning programmes.
• Develop and manage the Future Choices programme and Alternative Provision development.
• Build effective relationships with families, schools and external agencies.
