Job summary

Boston Consulting Group in London seeks a Senior AI Tech Consultant in Telecommunications to lead transformative tech initiatives. You will own substantial workstreams, shaping strategies, and translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

You will drive Telco platform modernisation, digital experience, cloud transformation, GenAI opportunities, and governance models while coaching junior colleagues and contributing to proposals and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in technology consulting or digital transformation.
• Strong telecom industry knowledge.
• Experience with GenAI and agentic AI applications.
• Ability to lead workshops with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own substantial workstreams: structure problems, develop hypotheses, analyze data and translate findings into recommendations.
• Lead telco platforms modernisation across BSS/OSS and digital estates.
• Shape customer and digital experience through CRM and contact-centre platforms.
• Support cloud, platform and engineering transformation including DevSecOps.
• Identify GenAI opportunities and redesign human-agent workflows.
• Develop business cases and roadmaps; advise clients.
• Evaluate technology options and vendor proposals for value and risk.
• Lead client workshops and coach junior colleagues; contribute to proposals.
