Job summary

TechTree in London seeks an experienced technical lead to own the end-to-end game generation pipeline. You’ll drive intent extraction, template matching, model routing, asset retrieval, generation, validation and telemetry, pushing playability up while cutting generation cost at high volume.

You will run benchmarks, employ LLM-as-judge methods, and optimize economics such as tiered routing and caching. Strong prior success with runtime engines (Three.js/Phaser/Babylon) is essential.

Qualifications

• Shipped text-to-game or AI game-creation tech at scale.
• Experience owning end-to-end generation pipelines.
• Strong grasp of cost-efficient, high-volume generation.
• Leadership of small teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the full generation pipeline: intent extraction, template matching, model routing, asset retrieval, generation, validation and repair, runtime, and telemetry.
• Improve playability pass rate while reducing per-generation cost at scale.
• Run benchmarks, LLM-as-judge checks, and track output quality over time.
• Own economics: tiered routing, caching, templates, and lightweight model distillation.
