Job summary

Orbis Group is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to sit at the centre of a transformative AI shift within a wealth management context. You will work directly with business teams across the firm to identify high-value use cases and then design, build, and ship production AI tools that deliver real value.

The role requires experience shipping LLM/GenAI tools to production, comfort collaborating with non-technical stakeholders, and preferring some exposure to wealth or asset management.

Qualifications

• Shipping LLM/GenAI tools to production in regulated environments.
• Able to work with non-technical stakeholders across underwriting, advisers, operations and compliance.
• Hybrid working and wealth/asset management exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases.
• Design, build and ship production AI tools (agents, copilots, retrieval systems).
• Collaborate with internal trainer to drive adoption.
• Assess AI risk and governance within a legacy-heavy environment.
