The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, strong CAD and schematic skills, and significant experience in avionics and aircraft electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional registration or working towards registration desirable.
• Experience in aerospace electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical design documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, system architecture).
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and FMEA for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical engineers and project managers for integration.
• Support proposals, cost estimates and project schedules.
