Morson Talent is seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to design, develop and test electrical systems for aerospace and aviation projects. You will apply engineering principles to ensure safety, reliability and performance, with cross‑functional collaboration and rigorous documentation.

Responsibilities include producing designs and layouts, performing analyses, supporting testing, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and certification packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in electrical systems design within aerospace or aviation.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and system integration.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards such as RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in CAD software and electrical simulation tools.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce technical documentation to a high standard.
• Effective communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Develop and produce detailed electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts according to project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Conduct system-level and component-level analysis to verify design integrity and safety.
• Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to integrate electrical systems within the aircraft design.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including reports, test plans, and certification packages.
• Support testing and validation activities, analysing results and implementing design modifications.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and company procedures and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate electrical system risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Utilise specialized engineering software for simulation, design, and documentation.
• Stay aware of emerging technologies to suggest design improvements.
