Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Designated Lead to advocate for care-experienced learners across Dearne Valley College, Rotherham College and North Notts College. The role focuses on promoting educational achievement, coordinating ePEPs and maintaining strong multi-agency links to support progression into employment or higher education.

The position is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) with a salary of £29,455 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

Level 2 English and Maths qualification or willingness to undertake.
Level 3 qualification in health and social care, youth work or social studies.
Teaching qualification (Level 3) advantageous.

Responsibilities

Ensure DfE compliance and act as lead operational contact for multi-agency support.
Coordinate and chair electronic Personal Education Plans (ePEPs) within statutory deadlines.
Monitor attendance, retention, achievement and progression of vulnerable students.
Implement robust attendance interventions and engage support networks early.
Prepare termly and annual reports for college committees and Leadership Team.
Establish and maintain partnerships with Virtual Schools, Local Authorities and other agencies.
Contribute to policy reviews and administrative processes for Virtual School networks.
