Job summary

IC Resources in Southampton is seeking an experienced System Test Engineer to lead automated test solutions for advanced wireless and RF systems, spanning development to deployment within a hybrid work setup.

You will collaborate with software, DSP and systems teams to design scalable test frameworks, validate 5G products, and define test strategies from requirements and architectures, with exposure to CI/CD or lab automation a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be skilled in developing automated test frameworks in Python and applying them to RF/wireless systems.
• Experience testing RF or wireless communications systems.
• Solid understanding of 3GPP 5G/6G standards and wireless architectures.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analysers, signal generators, VNAs).
• Ability to define test strategies from requirements and architecture specifications.
• Experience with system integration, validation and debugging.
• Exposure to CI/CD, hardware-in-the-loop or lab automation is a plus.
