Job summary

IC Resources is seeking an experienced System Test Engineer in Southampton to drive automated testing for high-performance wireless and RF systems. You will design scalable test frameworks and validate 5G products from development through deployment, working closely with software, DSP and systems engineers.

The role requires strong Python automation skills, RF test experience, and a solid understanding of 5G/6G standards, with potential exposure to CI/CD and lab automation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing automated test frameworks in Python.
• Experience testing RF or wireless systems.
• Knowledge of 3GPP 5G/6G standards and wireless architectures.
• Ability to define test strategies from system requirements and architecture specifications.
• Experience with system integration, validation and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of automated test solutions across advanced wireless and RF systems.
• Design scalable test frameworks and validate complex 5G products from development through to customer deployment.
• Collaborate with software, DSP and systems engineers to ensure robust test coverage.
