Qualifikationen

• Current National Grid SR/BP/TP141 Commissioning Engineer authorisation.
• Proven experience leading commissioning on 275kV and/or 400kV transmission substation projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of primary plant, protection and control, common supply systems and RTU/SCS interfaces.
• Experience taking projects from design review and commissioning preparation through to energisation and handover.
• Strong understanding of National Grid commissioning procedures, safety requirements and documentation.
• Availability to support the anticipated working pattern, progressing from part-time to full-time.

Aufgaben

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of commissioning activities across both substations.
• Review detailed designs to identify commissioning requirements, technical issues and interfaces.
• Prepare and review commissioning plans, procedures, test documentation and energisation readiness records.
• Coordinate and oversee testing of primary plant, common supply systems, protection and control, and RTU/SCS systems.
• Manage interfaces with the client, National Grid, contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Investigate defects, oversee corrective actions and complete commissioning records for handover.
• Ensure compliance with applicable National Grid procedures, safety standards and project specifications.
