Job summary

Octane Recruitment's client is seeking an experienced LCV Technician in Newcastle to service and repair vans. You should have a Level 3 qualification and a full UK driving licence. Working days are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, 42.5 hours per week with no weekends.

The role offers a basic salary up to £36,730, plus a £1,500 sign-on and overtime up to £20.77ph DOE. There are in-house training opportunities, a structured progression path to Master Technician level, a pension scheme and life

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Proof of certificate required before starting.
• Full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults and repair as needed.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.
