Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy aftersales team in Erdington, Birmingham. The role offers a competitive basic salary with potential for performance-based bonuses and extensive manufacturer training to support your career development.

You will service and repair vehicles, diagnose faults, and maintain high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• Experience working on light commercial vehicles.
• MOT testing qualification advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Deliver excellent technical service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Work on light commercial vehicles within a busy workshop environment.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Complete ongoing training, including IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair within the first 12 months.

£36,000-£42,000 basic salary + performance-related bonus

Pembrook Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy aftersales team in Erdington, Birmingham.

THE ROLE

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Deliver excellent technical service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Work on light commercial vehicles within a busy workshop environment.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Complete ongoing training, including achieving IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair within the first 12 months.

THE PACKAGE

• £36,000-£42,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
• Performance-related bonus, with OTE dependent on individual performance and work targets achieved.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Previous experience working as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• An MOT testing qualification would be advantageous.
• Main dealership experience would be beneficial.
• A strong work ethic, good diagnostic skills and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
