The Role:

As a Legal Cost Advisor, you will manage your own caseload of files with a focus on defendant cost files. You will handle all aspects of cost case management as part of a leading global law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of Defendant and Claimant costs files
• Drafting Points of Dispute and Replies to Cost claims
• Drafting bills of costs and schedules of Costs
• Negotiating costs offers and settlements, advising on cost claims
• Preparing costs budgets and discussion reports

About you:

• At least two years of experience in budgeting, negotiation, and drafting of Defendant and Claimant costs files
• Experience in insurance sector costs, including RTA, EL/PL, Industrial Disease, and Clinical Negligence
• Strong knowledge of the Fixed Recoverable Costs regime
