Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting a Laundry Technician in Pyle (CF33) to join a healthcare equipment provider. The role involves decontamination, cleaning and preparation of beds, mattresses and related equipment used in hospitals and care settings.

Working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, with pay rate £12.80 per hour. The position is temporary with full training provided and opportunities for progression within a busy decontamination environment.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in a similar practical role is desirable.
• Ability to work methodically and manage workload effectively.
• Physically able to handle larger and heavier items safely.
• Comfortable working within infection control and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and decontaminate returned equipment to a high standard.
• Support the daily flow of items through the laundry process.
• Keep accurate records of equipment processed.
• Work in line with Health and Safety and infection control procedures.
• Identify items that are damaged or need repair.
• Work as part of a team to meet demand from hospitals and care settings.

Laundry Technician
Location: Pyle, CF33
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 7.00 am - 3.00 pm or 7.30 am to 3.30 pm
Pay Rate: £12.80
Contract: Temporary

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of an established healthcare equipment provider for a Laundry Technician. This role is part of a specialist team responsible for the safe decontamination and preparation of medical beds mattresses and related equipment used across healthcare settings.

The Role

You will work within a busy laundry and decontamination environment where attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential. Daily tasks include

• Cleaning and decontaminating returned equipment to a high standard
• Supporting the daily flow of items through the laundry process
• Keeping accurate records of equipment processed
• Working in line with Health and Safety and infection control procedures
• Identifying any items that are damaged or need repair
• Working as part of a team to meet demand from hospitals and care settings

About You

• A full UK driving licence is essential
• Previous experience in a similar practical role is desirable
• Able to work methodically and manage your workload effectively
• Physically able to handle larger and heavier items safely
• Comfortable working within infection control and safety guidelines
