Job summary

Arjo in Belfast is hiring a Laundry Technician to join our Rental Operations, responsible for cleaning and decontaminating medical beds and mattresses returned by NHS, private hospitals and care homes. You will work with a team of over 200 technicians across the UK and Ireland, follow infection control policies, maintain throughput records, and assist with occasional deliveries or collections when needed.

The ideal candidate is methodical, able to prioritise, has a full driving licence and good

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy and bulky items for prolonged periods.
• Experience with health and safety practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of medical beds and mattresses in accordance with infection control policy.
• Maintain daily circulation of products through the laundry.
• Maintain laundry throughput records.
• Adhere to Health and Safety measures.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and suggest process improvements.
• Undertake other reasonable requests by line manager.
• Some short-term field work for deliveries/collections within TME accounts.
