Job summary

Imperial London Hotels’ Little Bill Laundry in Leyton is seeking a skilled Laundry Specialist to join our team. This 40-hour role involves operating washers and dryers, recording daily production, ensuring linen quality, and packing items for delivery.

You will work across a busy wash house, following safety guidelines and COSHH training, with opportunities for progression within the Imperial London Hotels group.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as Laundry Operator or in a Laundry Warehouse.
• Strong physical stamina for lifting, pushing and manual folding.
• Strong attention to detail when handling linen and operating machinery.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate washer extractors and dryers in the wash house.
• Fill forms to record daily wash production and report to Shift Leader.
• Check linen quality at packaging areas and pack into cages with delivery notes.
• Follow reuse/rewash processes and ensure COSHH safety procedures.
• Label cages and boxes with delivery notes and manage end-of-shift handover.
