The Role of the Laundry Assistant

Reporting to the B Team & Academy Kit Lead the successful applicant will be based at the Training Ground and will assist with the provision of a kit service across all teams. Evening work and occasional weekends will be required to ensure all kit is laundered to the highest standard on training days.

Main Accountabilities

  • Laundering of match kit
  • Laundering of training kit
  • Laundering of staff training kit
  • Making up of player and staff training kit packs for training
  • Changing of laundry cleaning products and cylinder for clothing dryers
  • Ensuring each player and staff member has clean kit for training and matchdays
  • Working as part of a laundry team
  • Ensure any contact and interaction with players complies with the Club’s Safeguarding Policy and that any concerns are shared with the Safeguarding Team through appropriate channels

  • Ability to use MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel) to carry out administrative tasks
  • Own transport and clean driving license or the ability to fulfil the travel requirements of the role
