Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd in Liss is seeking a Laundry Assistant at Blenheim Court with a rate of £12.71 per hour. This full-time role covers washing, drying, ironing and distributing laundry for 60 residents, within a 40-hour week.

You will maintain health and safety standards, support inventory and work as part of a friendly, resident-focused team that values work-life balance and professional development. This role offers a supportive environment with ongoing training and career development

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for creating a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry for residents and the home laundry.
Ensure that laundry is maintained and cleaned according to health and safety standards.
Maintain laundry equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Organise and distribute clean laundry to residents in a timely manner.
Assist with inventory and ordering of laundry supplies.
Build positive relationships with residents and staff, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
