Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd in Liss is seeking a Laundry Assistant at Blenheim Court with a rate of £12.71 per hour. This full-time role covers washing, drying, ironing and distributing laundry for 60 residents, within a 40-hour week.

You will maintain health and safety standards, support inventory and work as part of a friendly, resident-focused team that values work-life balance and professional development. This role offers a supportive environment with ongoing training and career development

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for creating a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry for residents and the home laundry.
• Ensure that laundry is maintained and cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Organise and distribute clean laundry to residents in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of laundry supplies.
• Build positive relationships with residents and staff, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
