Care Concern Group is seeking a Laundry Assistant for Oakbank Care Home in Crieff. This hands‑on role supports residents' comfort and daily wellbeing by washing, drying, ironing and returning clothes with care and clear labelling.
Working 21 hours per week over five days, you will join a supportive team, adhere to infection control and hygiene standards, and benefit from paid PVG, pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks' annual leave.
Oakbank Care Home is a well established care home in Crieff, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Palliative and Respite care for up to 70 residents. As Laundry Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring residents’ clothing and linen are cared for to a high standard, supporting comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing. This is a hands on role where attention to detail and organisation are essential.
You will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing and returning items correctly, ensuring all clothing is clearly labelled and handled with care. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the laundry area, you will ensure all processes are carried out safely and efficiently.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and laundry procedures, ensuring a consistent and reliable service that contributes to a well organised and comfortable environment.
