Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to support secondary schools across County Durham and the North East.

Roles range from daily supply to longer fixed-term contracts, offering diverse classroom experiences to build your teaching portfolio. You will teach in your specialist subject within supportive school environments, developing your practice, managing classes, and collaborating with staff to support pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS
• A relevant degree or teaching qualification
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• The flexibility and enthusiasm to work across different school settings

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and supporting pupil engagement
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• Working collaboratively with school staff to support student development
