Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking an entry-level engineer for the AGGP2027 Graduate Programme in the UK. You will begin a two-year development journey into the role of AOCS/GNC & FD Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in space mission guidance, navigation and control, and flight dynamics alongside large ESA projects.

You will rotate across learning and technical work, including prototype software development in C/Matlab/Simulink, and you will strengthen skills in collaboration,

Qualifications

Degree level or equivalent in Control/Automation/Space/Aeronautical Engineering.
Recently graduated or first professional experience in AOCS, GNC or Flight Dynamics.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.
Desire to work in a collaborative team and drive innovation.
Experience with mathematical modelling and software development is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze space mission GNC, work on flight algorithms and hardware.
Support ESA projects like ExoMars Rover and ARIEL with AOCS/GNC input.
Create design justifications and software requirements for AOCS/GNC.
Develop prototype software in C/Matlab/Simulink.
Learn about Earth observation and interplanetary missions from an AOCS/GNC view.
