Job summary

Airbus in Stevenage is seeking a university graduate for the two-year Airbus Global Graduate Programme to grow into the AOCS/GNC & FD Engineer role. You will gain hands-on experience in GNC design, mission analysis, and flight software development across small studies and large projects.

You will contribute to ESA missions such as ExoMars and ARIEL, participate in rotations, and receive leadership and soft-skill training to build your future within Airbus.

Qualifications

• Degree-level knowledge in control/automation, space or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with AOCS/GNC or flight dynamics is a plus.
• Strong math modelling and software development skills.
• Excellent English communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and analysis of space mission GNC and FD.
• Develop prototype flight software in C/Matlab/Simulink.
• Support ESA projects (ExoMars, ARIEL, AEOLUS-2, etc.).
• Prepare design justifications and performance analyses.
