Job summary

Hotel Gotham Bristol, Bristol's first luxury five-star lifestyle hotel, is seeking a Bar Manager to lead the beverage operation from day one during the pre-opening phase. Based mainly in the courtroom lounge, you will recruit, train and develop the bar team and ensure five-star service across the venue.

You will bring a deep knowledge of wine and cocktails, create drinks menus, oversee service in the restaurant and events, and uphold licencing compliance while delivering an exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of wine and beverages required.
• Experience leading beverage operations and teams.
• Strong communication and attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead beverage menus for all bar and restaurant areas while training the team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service and brand delivery across the venue.
• Recruit, train and develop the bar team to deliver five-star service.
• Ensure licensing laws are understood and followed and maintain accurate documentation.
