Trust Housing Association Limited is seeking a Later Living Support Worker to help older people stay independent, connected and safe in their own community at Parkhead Court, Dumfries. As a Later Living Support Worker, you will help older people stay independent, connected and confident in their own community.
You will provide practical housing and wellbeing support, helping customers maintain their homes and tenancies, take part in community life, access services and feel safe within their development.
A typical day might include supporting customers with practical tasks, encouraging independence, helping people take part in activities, responding to customer needs or concerns, working with colleagues and partners, and keeping accurate support records.
We're looking for someone warm, reliable and customer-focused who enjoys supporting older people, communicates clearly and respectfully, and can build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners.
You don't need to be a digital expert, but you should be comfortable using online systems, emails and digital records as part of your day-to-day work.
This role is based at Parkhead Court, Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway DG1 3JF.
Hours: 16.75 hours, 3 days per week, on a 4 week rolling rota
Salary: £14.04 per hour
