Job Description:

The Role

This is a desktop claims handling role. We are seeking an individual to undertake claims handling tasks on Latent Defects claims managed by our LDI Surveyors and Loss Adjusters. Training on Latent Defects Insurance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Surveyor/Loss Adjuster with technical claims handling tasks such as issuing coverage decisions, assisting policyholders with settlement routes, organizing payments, and producing reports.
• Maintain the claims system with accurate details to meet client requirements and ensure accurate MI and Bordereaux.
• Instruct external experts/suppliers, including specialists, solicitors, and contractors, as appropriate.
• Manage and maintain the diary system for each claim.
• This is a fee-earning role with associated targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement of the Latent Defects team and support other parts of Charles Taylor as needed.
• Assist in marketing efforts by developing client relationships, identifying new clients, supporting marketing activities, and helping prepare and deliver presentations.

Required Skills
