Job summary

Optiver in London is building its Digital Assets trading capabilities by hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. You will design low-latency infrastructure, own and optimize cloud performance, and support exchange integrations in a secure, scalable platform.

You'll work with Terraform/Terragrunt, CI/CD, and observability tools to deliver safe, multi-tenant cloud services for always-on markets. This role offers a collaborative, high-performance environment with international transfer

Qualifications

• Experience owning production infrastructure
• Strong cloud design and optimization skills
• Proficiency with Terraform modules and safe IaC practices

Responsibilities

• Design low-latency infrastructure using cloud primitives and optimized configurations.
• Own and optimize cloud infrastructure performance setups.
• Build and run high-throughput, resilient connectivity patterns for exchange integrations.
• Drive security hygiene with secrets management, network segmentation, and traffic isolation.
• Implement governance and best practices for shared cloud platform and multi-tenant operation.
• Deliver infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt, following standards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and automated testing for safe changes in always-on markets.
• Implement observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and similar tools.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident improvement.
