Job summary

T&K Associates are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for their client in Coalville on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves picking orders from worksheets, loading via pump trucks, and preparing dispatch-ready goods for customers.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to work in a cold store, and a team player with good attention to detail. Forklift licences are advantageous, and overtime opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from a worksheet using manual pump trucks.
• Load products onto vehicles using pump trucks and fill the cages on the vehicle.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders in line with customer or business requirements, ensuring items are correctly selected, packed and ready for dispatch.
• Maintain effective stock control procedures, monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages, damages or inconsistencies to support efficient stock management.
• All other associated duties as required.

• Sunday - Thursday - 17:00pm - 02:00am (No Friday / Saturday evening working)

Warehouse Operative Duties

• Order Picking from a worksheet using manual pump trucks
• Loading products onto vehicles using pump trucks and filling the cages on the vehicle
• Accurately pick and prepare orders in line with customer or business requirements, ensuring items are correctly selected, packed and ready for dispatch
• Maintain effective stock control procedures, monitoring inventory levels and reporting any shortages, damages or inconsistencies to support efficient stock management
• All other associated duties as required

Warehouse Operative Person Specification

• Must be psychically fit due to the manual lifting
• Must be happy to work within a cold store environment
• A good team player
• Strong attention to detail
• A forklift license is advantageous
• Must have excellent English as there are over 4000 products that can be stored
