You will be joining a privately owned, family run discount retailer selling top brands at the lowest possible price on the UK high street. The distribution centre is one of the companies most advanced and highly automated DC’s and covers a huge 1,000,000sq.ft.
TheWarehouse Operativeis fundamental to the day-to-day operations across theTJ Morrisnetwork with all items picked for the day, supplied direct to stores the following day. The site operates 24/7 with all warehouse operatives expected to work 5 days out of 7 which will include rotational weekends.
As aWarehouse Operativeyou will be provided with all of the latest training to ensure that you can operate to your full potential, and to use the companies automated Caddy Pick System. You have regular training sessions and progress reviews for continuous improvement within your job role.

This role will involve covering large distances by foot (up to 15,000 steps per day), although the automated picking system will provide you with the shortest / quickest route to each item that is required to be picked.
